2014 Nissan Rogue
Nissan reported having a stellar month of sales for November, with the total number of units sold at 106,528, which equated to a 10.7 percent increase versus the previous November and set a new sales record for the month. Nissan Division also set a sales record for November, with 93,376 units sold and a 10.8 percent increase versus November of 2012. Infiniti set a record for sales in November as well, with 13,152 units sold and an increase in sales of 10.5 percent. For the first eleven months of 2013 Nissan Division achieved sales of 1,035,439 vehicles for a 10.7 percent increase versus the previous year, and surpassing the entire volume for sales in 2012. There were a number of vehicles that posted sales records for November. The sole electric vehicle of the lineup, the Leaf, achieved an amazing record for sales in the month of November with 2,003 units. Compared to November of the previous year, Leaf sales increased 30.1 percent, while sales for 2013 are up a whopping 141.1 percent versus 2012. Sentra sales were also way up for November, with a 62.5 percent increase from 11,664 units being sold during the month. Nissan believes the huge surge in Sentra sales resulted from a combination of increasing demand from consumers combined with more Sentra models available for delivery. The Altima also set a new record for November, thanks to 24,606 units sold to the tune of a 21.2 percent increase in sales.
“Consumers’ strong demand for Nissan products continued last month, culminating in a very good Black Friday weekend and driving our sales performance to an all-time record November. Nissan has achieved record sales in eight out of 11 months in 2013 and with more than 1 million units sold, we have already outsold all of 2012,” said Fred Diaz, divisional vice president, Sales and Marketing and Service and Parts, Nissan U.S.A.
